This carburetor package has been assembled from those parts which represent the best of both SU and Volvo original components. These carburetors have been rebuilt to the highest standard, and modified to produce excellent performance. 

These HS6 carbs have the three bolt air filter flange.  They are equipped with fixed needles, of the DX profile.  This profile is slightly leaner than the KD in the off-idle portion, giving improved cruising economy, but at full throttle give the fuel flow of the KD, and consequently will support up to 140 hp in a B20. These carbs have the concentric throttle return springs, which eliminate the need to use the ungainly and wear-producing manifold washer anchored springs. The secondary throttle plate levers have been removed from the throttle bellcranks. The deceleration valves originally fitted in the throttle plates have been removed and soldered over. All steel components have been gold cadmium plated. The carbs have been rebuilt with new shafts, Teflon lined steel bushings, jets, float valves, and all gaskets. The vacuum chambers are polished.  The Volvo interconnecting linkage is included, and is gold cadmium plated as well.  A gold cadmium plated heat shield completes the package.

This is a pair of HS6 bodies for Volvo. As an experiment they were rebushed using in-house machined bronze bushings. This worked well but was more time-consuming than installing the SU supplied steel and teflon bushings we normally use. They include bellcranks and interconnecting links, and new throttle plates and screws, and are ready to be assembled with your parts into a pair of excellent carburetors.

This manifold has been caustic cleaned, glass bead blasted, and acid etched. It is the early style that does not have the center vacuum port for the PCV valve. It does have the port on the front of the interconnecting tube for the power brake vacuum supply fitting, as used on the P1800's. $90.00
